Hello Folks, my name is Appealing King Typhoon Saiyai aka. "Typhoon."

I flew from America to Thailand to become a member of Saiyai Doghome, 5 years ago. It was a long journey, that some could s

ay it was meant to be. Mom told me that I inspires her so much that she founded the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Thailand, which she has been the President of, since.

I am just a regular cavalier king charles, which has the qualities of being sweet, gentle, polite, honest, sensitive, a good memory, and knowing what's appropriate and what isn't. These may be the basic qualities of our breed. This may be why me, and my other cavalier friends, know what to do with mom or other family members. When mom is happy and lively, I would join her in her jogging. If she was sad, and she just wanted to sit in silence, I also would not mind laying down quietly next to her. I do not have to pretend to be these things. I do and be these things, gladly.

Mom, presented the stories and pictures of me, here and on facebook, occasionally. She also created the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Thailand page on Facebook, with me being the inspiration. Therefore, many people have already said hello to me many times. The simple, yet warm time I spent in the Saiyai Doghome family, is only 5 years long. Is it not too soon for me to say goodbye to you all? . Some people have only just met me.

It may be due to the qualities of cavalier king charles spaniels, we do not show our pain to others. We also think first of the happiness of our family members and owners. I've been suffering for a while, but I thought it was nothing serious, so I didn't show the symptoms. I still slept (acted) happily on the same bed with mom. I still wagged my tail every time she came home. I still rested my chin on her shoulders every time she was playing the computer or being on facebook. It was only 3 weeks ago that Brother Sa noticed that I seemed sad. Mom freaked out, and had me go check at the hospital. They found that I had kidney problems, and cancer in my lymph gland. I could barely eat anything. The vet issued chemotherapy for me. I could still communicate with mom, with love. I saw mom and our family being so sad. I tried to comfort them by eating everything they gave me, as if I was normal. Mom also cooked me especially healthy food for me. Some friends brought and sent medicine to Thailand. Not to mention, the kind wishes and blessings I receive from all around the world.

But since my illness was very serious, despite the intensive care, and the constant flow of love and wishes, only helped me stay until the evening of August 10th, 2011. I decided to leave this world, and traveled across the rainbow bridge to heaven, while I was surrounded by love. I just had lunch, including all supplements, in such a way that it cheered up my mom, and all the others around the world. Mom's friend, Mrs. Kananart, was massaging me gently. She put on me a necklace containing energy iron. I felted comfortable, and breathing easily. I was happy. But in that minute, I didn't feel like breathing anymore, and I stopped. The vet, who has been so kind to me, was called in, and she arrived in minutes. She tried to get my heart going again, but I told myself that I already wanted to go to the rainbow bridge. I still felt fortunate that in my last minute, I was in the loving arms of mom.

To Mr. Alvin and Mrs. Shirley, I thank you and I'm so grateful the two of you carried the SNE to me. Mom and I truly believed that it helped me keep going until the 10th. I apologize I decided to go away before you went back to Malaysia, and caused you to lose tears. I thank you as well for staying with mom, giving her someone to cry with.

Thank you, Mrs. Jill Marsh, Ms. Micheline Saluga, and other kind friends for paying attention and caring for the different treatments I was receiving. It meant a lot to mom and family, who are still here on this world with you. And it means so very much to me, who are traveling to heaven.

So, this conversation is like a hello to some, and a goodbye to everyone.

Remaining time between Typhoon and me

"Typhoon" is not just a cavalier who is loved by me and is an inspiration to me. Typhoon also emphasizes the size and meaning of the phrase "unconditional love," to me. Furthermore, he is an important reason why I fight so hard when I was sued by my neighbors. I tell myself, and to the public, that I will fight until the end so that I can have Typhoon with me and my family forever.

However, sometimes the deities can test us, in a surprising way.

I say to everyone that cavalier king charles spaniels are lively, loving, look after other people's happiness more than their own, and do they best to please others. Their tails will always be wagging when they are awake. Unless they are critically unwell, their tails will always be wagging. This must be the reason why by the time I realized Typhoon was ill, the vet already diagnosed that Typhoon does not have a lot of time left.

We just found out that Typhoon has been infected by a kidney disease for 3 weeks. He is already at a critical level. We treat Typhoon with various efforts to the best of our abilities. However, in the mean time, I've noticed his lymph glands have been growing everyday, and he struggles to breathe. So we took Typhoon to the hospital to be tested. His cells were taken to be tested, and he was x-rayed. The vets are quite confident he has lymph gland cancer. They also found, on the x-ray film, that there is a white sheet covering almost the whole of his lung. They don't know if it's just inflammation or lung cancer. It makes him breathe with great difficulty.

The vets said if the lymph gland or the lung, or both, have cancer, especially the former, Typhoon will have just 3 months left.

The vet recommended that I admit Typhoon into the hospital so he can receive oxygen treatment. However, after a long discussion, I decided to order an oxygen cell, and bring Typhoon back to be treated at home. I do not want to leave him at the hospital. If he is to have only 3 months left, I want them to be 3 months where he sleep in my room every night, as he has always done.

Art, my friend, kindly brought the oxygen cell to me. Actually, Art was the one who carried Typhoon from America to Thailand, for me, 5 years ago.

Typhoon still sleeps in my room, but not on the bed as usual, but in the oxygen cell, which is placed next to the bed.

I try to spend as much time as possible with Typhoon. Of course I still go to work at the office, but I always rush home without stopping anywhere. When I return, no matter where Typhoon is, be it in oxygen cell or outside it, he would wag his tails and look up at me lovingly, as if to say, "no matter how much time is left, every moment we share is valuable."

I still hope that no matter what the result of my law case, which I was sued by 2 of my neighbors, is I will still have Typhoon with me. I've already made plans that no matter the result, I will move Typhoon and his friends to Hatyai. I really want Typhoon to be in my plans, no matter what those plans are, forever. I do not know how I can beg this from. Whoever it is, please grant some more time for Typhoon and me to be together.

And at the weekend of 23-24 July , "Duke" got to the show ring for the second time at the show by French Bulldog Club of Thailand and got 3 CC from Mr.Roger Pritchard (USA) , Mrs. Pauline Suhr ( Australia) and Mr. Martin Doherty (Canada)

Recently , "Amex" and "Master" two boys of the credit card gang out of Int. Am.Th.Ch. Fandango Wheel of Fortune "Cash" and Saiyai's Dancin To Be a Star - have become CHAMPIONS.

You may recall, we had Visa , Amex and Master . The three boys were born on 9th December 2010. Visa lives happily with our dear friend Claudia McLaughlin in NY.

"Amex" : Saiyai's Thai American Express for Viva Mexican , co- owned by Angelica Jimenez and trained & shown by Esthela Montemeyor , has become a Mexican champion. This brought happy tears to my eyes. We are proud to say that Amex is Saiyai's VERY FIRST HOME BRED MEXICAN CHAMPION!!!!!

Life...will not be the same without Panjo

Panjo is the handicapped Pomeranian that my family adopted eight years ago. Panjo can't use his back legs and had spinal chord issues from the time he was born. Every time he peed, he had to lift his two back legs in the air and stand on his front feet, and his pee would fall down onto his chest. We had to clean him every time he finished. He barely had teeth, so he had to eat special liquid food. It sounds like a burden, but it wasn't at all, compared to the smiles and laughs we received from his strange behavior and loyal look in his eyes. It turned out that Panjo was the one "giving "more than "receiving".

Panjo went with my family almost everywhere. He always slept in a bag with Pear, my 3-legged female Pomeranian - they were buddies. When at home, Panjo slept on his cushion at the end of my bed. Every time I walked anywhere he followed me, not ever letting his crippled legs become a burden; he was like my shadow.

The look Panjo gave me, always full with love and loyalty - there are no other looks that can compare to how he looked at me.

Yesterday, I was talking to an architect about a house I am planning to build and move to with some of the dogs. While I was talking to him, Panjo was at my feet as always, listening, but he might have thought he was a burden or was being abandoned - which is not true and would never have been true.

Panjo decided to take his breath out of his body and went to the rainbow bridge last night. My husband found him sleeping, frozen with his eye closed at the place he always slept. It's just that this morning, he didn't wake up to look at me with 'the look' that nothing else compares to. He didn't stand up on his two front feet to run after me when I went out to offer food to the monks or exercise. When I walked back, there was no Panjo to wait for me at the same spot with the loving, loyal look as always.

I knew this day had to come. I just didn't expect that I wouldn't have the chance to say good-bye to tell him I love him or to tell him how much he meant to my heart and my every day life.

Life my continue. But my life, my every day atmosphere in the house will never be the same without the look and breath of Panjo.

2) Saiyai's Thai American Express for Viva Mexican , aka " Amex" got BOS at his FIRST show in Mexico by one of the top handlers there : Esthela Leal Montemayor. It's not bad for the FIRST TIME SHOWING , right? I'm so proud of him , happy to say "Way to Go , little Amex!:0)

3) Am. Ch. Saiyai' s Masterpiece for Beautiful Valley , aka" Master" whom finished US championship by Erika Lanasa arrived Thailand safely and sound at late Sunday night. Master seems familia to his "first home" Saiyai Doghome and is playing happily with the gang here. He will take a good rest in Thailand before going home in Indonesia.

I'm proud to announce we'd got another U.S. Champion past weekend.!!!!

"Celeb " got Best of Breed over the specials for another five points major on Saturday. It made "Celeb" to become a new American champion of Saiyai's breeding and of her owners- Eliika & Peter of Sugarhills, Sweden. All of this is in four shows only.

On Sunday , "Celeb" got another 5 points major towards her Grand Championship....Best of Breed beating other champions!!!!

All happened in Hawaii by Stacia Ohira.

"Celeb" is now new number one chihuahua in Hawaii:-)

I don't know why I just posted about Malee's returning home, even though she has been home for a while already. It seems like something I had been waiting for so long and once the time came, I didn't know how to explain my feeling.

Here's the brieft. After Malee, as Saiyai breeding ambassador, had shown in the US for 2 years by Erika Lanasa and has become #6 All Breed in 2009 , # 4 Breed and #5 All Breed ,in 2010 ,in the US, Malee returned to her homeland with me on my birthday, February 20th 2011.

Malee settled in very well. She is having a good time in the house she was born .She gets along with all her friends great. Her parents and her sister, "Tubtim", also show her a very warm welcome.

Well ,but I must say she is settled in "too well"!!! She plays well but also eats well !!! Now she is in the "diet course" (which doesn't work well because my husband and my son spoile her too well)

This is Sam :
the Bassett Hound is about more than 10 years old. I saved Sam from improper care about 5 years ago. At the time, we thought he would not last very long, because he was already quite old. Every morning, I would ask my maids who were looking after the dogs, "Is Sam still alive?" I asked that question for years, until eventually I stop asking. Sam seems healthy and happy, and we hope to look after him until his time is over. Sam is no burden for us. In fact, Sam bring us joy with his funny face and movement. Sam is joyful, lively, and friendly.

Eventually, the two families that sued me about my dogs (which they won both in the initial and appealing court) indicated that Sam was the problem. They claimed Sam was loud, smelly, and made it difficult for them to breathe (in fact Sam is very clean, hundreds of other neighbors like to come and play with him.) But no matter how the two neighbours lie, they have already won.

I am still fighting. My lawyer suggests that I remove the so call "problematic" dogs, to show our good intentions to fixing the problem (a problem which only occurs for two families.) So there came a day when Sam had to move out of Saiyai Doghome, to go live with a friend of mine. Fortunately, Sam's new home is a warm and kind family. On the day of his arrival, the neighbors of his new family all came out to welcome Sam. Many came to hug him, and shook my hands. Therefore, I believe that Sam will live there happily, and without anyone disliking him.

When I came back home, I found flooded of my house with tears. All maids cried. Saiyai got lots of tears across the sky. Kawee said his life will not be the same when he returns home next time. Not to mention Sa - who cried like a child. I- myself , am not sure whether I can sleep well tonight and every night from now.

My family and I continue to fight for the other dogs in our family.

After being uncertain for a while , we have been confirmed by the AKC that "Joy" has become a Grand champion since Dec 2010!!!!!!!

"Joy" is the 2nd American Grand Champion of Saiyai Doghome's breeding after "Malee". This wonderful thing of "Joy" would not have happened had it not been for the passion and vision of Joy's owner ,CHICHIS of Thailand who has devoted love ,hope and money for Joy's title , both American and Grand championship. It wasn't long ago when my family and I dreamed that if any of Saiyai Doghome's dog was invited to a big show like Westminster, we would be so proud. We also thought that if one day one of our dogs become top ten in the US, would I be able to stand on the ground still? If I might be floating in heaven, would anyone catch me? or would we all be flying together?

It was only a dream for not too long. In 2009, Malee flew to the USA to be shown by Erika Lanasa. With limited shows from 26th July - 5th December 2009, Malee became number 6 of all breeds in USA.

In February 2010, there were 2 dogs by Saiyai's breeding that were invited to be shown in Westminster -" Malee" BISS.AM.GCH.CH. SAIYAI'S THAI LITTLE FLORIST "MALEE& "Tommie": AM.CH.SAIYAI'S MIRACLE MOMENT FOR BRISLIN ,whom beloved and own by Michelle Brislin.

Tommie stopped his show career. He became a dad, and a mommy's boy at the same time. Malee, who still continue with her show in Specialty, ranks number 5 in all breeds and number 6 in breed.

Malee was invited to show in CCA event in Chicago in last October and she got the Award of Merit. She is also invited to show at Eukanuba show in Long Beach in December 2010,Invitation to Wastminster 2011,Invitation to Cruft 2011 in London,and invitataion to the World Dog Show 2011 in Paris.

Oh! It seemed not so long ago when I dreamed of even fewer invitations! Dreams keep coming true, one after another. It's like big waves of good news hitting the shore at the same time! However, I don't know how far Malee , Erika and I can follow this dream path. We want to accept every invitation and go to every show but we might end up only going to the World Dog Show.

It's Friday morning, November 5th, 2010. I checked my mail as usual, there was a mail that got me excited.... very excited . It was an email from CCA telling me that I was approved to be a member of CCA. This is one of the best news of 2010.

Thank you all Board Members of ...the CCA for valuing a small exhibitor/breeder from Thailand. Your kindly approval means the world to me and every life of Saiyai Doghome,Thailand. I think I'm the first Thai member of CCA.

Thank you Mrs. Jane Kay and Erika Lanasa for being my sponsors (and for many other things). You all already know how meaningful Erika Lanasa has been to me, but I would like to thank her again here.

I'd like to say something shortly about Jane Kay, my best friend and my mentor who always supports me in everything. It's more than I can list here. There is already a big space in my heart filled with great things Jane has done for me.

Jane Kay is one of the senior judges who judges all breeds in the US and aroud the world for decades. She has been invited to judge all around the world, including once in Thailand. It was the show I hosted in 2006, which is when I met her. She has become an important part of my life in the dog show world. I can easily say that without Jane, there would be no Saiyai Doghome name. Thank you, dear Jane for bringing MANY sunshine into my life.

I also want to thank Karen Hamling for supporting. You have guided, asked, and concerned about my CCA membership. Karen even kindly offered to be my sponsor. If CCA needed more than 2 sponsors, Karen would be one of them.

"Rose" passed away...

I recieved a mail from Roxana Hossli ,today...early morning. The mail didn't make my day at all.

Roxana kindly told me that our precious "Rose" has crossed the rainbow bridge.

On September 27th , Roxana saw that Rose was not playful as ussually. She didn't eat much and slept alot. Roxana watched her carefully in the evening and woke up at 4 AM to check Rose. Roxana said when she walked into Rose's room she saw a huge puddle of diarrhea. She said it was too much for such a small dog. Roxana grapped her and droved to an animal clinic .

The vet mannaged to put an IV in her neck. At 10 AM. Rose started to move and later on she tried to sit up. But at 3.4 PM ,Rose had a heart attack , the vet tried to revive her but she was gone.

Roxana brought Rose home and burried her in the garden .

Rose left the world , traveled across the rainbow bridge to heaven on 28th September 2010 at 3.3 pm ,when she was the age of 15 months ,24 days .

I fully understand why Roxana justtold me today ,after three weeks past. It must has been hard for her to speak or write about it. For me , it's hard for my heart top make my day happy after this....and it might be for awhile...a big big while...may be all my life.

Rose must have been hurting and in so much pain. While I'm writing this ,tears are still coming out of my eyes. I can't stop crying for hours.What makes me a bit happer is thinking that Rose has no more pain now.

This is the picture of Malee, when she finished her American Championship with a major, with her handler, Erika Lanasa on 7th August, 2009.

Allow me to say again that Malee was ranked no.6 long-coat chihuahua in America in 2009, after limited showing from 26th July to 5th December. She won many majors and 13 group places.

Less than a year passed by, she has earned the title of "Grand Champion" in America on 24th July, 2010. Malee is one of the first Grand Champions of Anmerica.

On Tuesday ,10th August , Erika told Saiyai that Malee 's points was close to "grand champion", and I was...WOW! WOW! WOW! , if you remember how crazy I was , with only the word "close to".

Yesterday, I recieved an email from AKC , read" Congratulations on your dog's attainment of the Grand Champion title. Being one of the first dogs to earn this new title is a great achievement"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked Saiyai to tell this to Erika and Erika kindly checked with the AKC.Every minute of yesterday passed by so slowly for me. I couldn't breath well , actually.

Today, I recieved an email from Erika , it's a short message ,but what Erika wrote was:
"YEAH!! Malee is a Grand Champion!! She titled July 24th :-))"

Valuable day

Today my family and I visited some of our adopted dogs. It's great to feel that we had spent times on lives, that although they are not valuable , value our visits. We are thier Very Important Persons ,LOL.

"Dum" the cripled dog who was hit by a car and can no longer walk , likes to sit at the door. I guess that there are two reasons for this , he can't walk any more and he likes to feel like people have to ask for his permissions to walk through.

"Lucky" ,this one was also probably hit by a car . My son found found he was left in the rain in a street. "Lucky" is cured now., but no longer can walk. Lucky has very good tast. He likes eating grilled chicken and fresh milk.

"Loso" was hit by a car and his hind legs are compleatly useless. He is training to walk with the wheels.

This one , I found her with a broken jaw , unable to eat anything,and had cancer in her sexual organ. I took her to the vet. The cancer has been cured, and the jaw has improved but the vet stll needs to handfeed. In the picture, she was practicing to eat by herself.

Dear friend , Toni Kay , came from Australia to visit , to cuddle her "Pop" before Pop's going to train & show with Hiram Stewart . Toni first 's day in Thailand was valuable. She enjoyed spending time with Pop and the colleage.

Well, Laday Gaga is still Lady Gaga . I think she thinks that she is the fairest in the world (even thogh her world only consists only my house and my brother's house) so she flaunts everywhere. She doesn't like to stand still. She would walk everywhere and looks if everyone sees her. It's a different personallity to her brother. Brownie is very very sweet and likes to sit still on the floor and watches Lady Gaga. He may think that Lady Gaga is crazy!:0)) But boy, her movement is excelent. And when Brownie moves,the world stops!!!

Uncle Chin

Uncle Chin was one of our family's rescued dogs.

He was blind and was left behind at a bus stop at a tower called Chin Tower and because he was old so we called him "Uncle Chin. We picked him and let a vet keep him in a hospital.The vet found Uncle Chin had cancer in his sexual organ and other infections. The vet tried to treat Uncle Chin, but had to stop because the medication was harmful to his insides. As for his eyes, they were absolutely blind and couldn't be treated.

Uncle Chin moved to live with my cousin. When the owners returned home, and Uncle Chin could smell them, he welcomed them by waging his tail happily. But Uncle Chin would be facing the walls and his butt to his owners because he was blind so he didn't know.

Uncle Chin passed away peacefully yesterday. So long our dear Uncle Chin ,we'll never forget you.

Malee won the Best of Breed, again, for the fourth day running, under the judge Anne Hearn. It means Malee have won in total of 4 Best of Breeds at the show at Bel Alton MD , Southern Maryland KC, in the past weekend.

I'm very impressed because I know the weather there is very warm. Erika said she was exhausted after showing in the outdoor. And how tiring it must be for Malee as well. Anyway, the two tough ladies, Erika and Malee, did their jobs excellently.

Erika and Malee will have a few more days to rest. The next show, which is also four days, is happening this coming weekend.!!!!!!!

I know that at this age there are many things to look forward throgh but her parents and the way she looks right now are so special.

The plan I have for her are so great that I dare not say now.If everything turns out well with her, I may need help from some friends in America and in Europe.

There was one of the biggest international dog shows in Thailand June 24-27 , hosted by FCI and Thai Kennel Club. I only entered Baron to compete for CACIB . Baron's front right leg was injured few minutes before the show time , so Baron didn't show beautifully and he didn't win (but he got a lot of hugs:-)

I enjoyed the event though I joined there only one day ,one show ,with one dog. There were thousand of dogs from many breeders & exhibitors both from Thailand and neighbouring countries .

Congratulations to every breeder and exhibitor who won. It was a well organized event with great judges from aroud the world. And like I said, there were so many beautiful dogs.

I just want to update the progress of one of my precious litter , Brownie & Lady Ga Ga , of Masa and Beauty Secret. They are 7 weeks old.

Brownie is very beautiful , sweet , polite ,especially whe compare with his littermate -Lady Ga Ga -who is a bully girl (sorry , Paula) . In each passing day they become more beautiful but for Lady Ga Ga ,she becomes less of a lady!

Brownie can make me smile all day as I watch him :0) They came to visit today with my brother , and my brother confirmed to me what I feel is right.

It's my time to smile from ear to ear again.

Erika Lanasa kindly informed that today "Malee" won the breed under judge Doris Cozart and a GROUP 3 under Elaine Mathis at Bryn Mawr in Pennsylvania. Erika said our "Malee" showed so well, it was 90+ degrees and she looked beautiful. Erika also said she was welting but I don't believe , why? ,look at what she did! Welting person can not do such that great job!!!!

I'm so happy that "Joy" arrived Erika's hands saftly and sound. Erika is excited to show Joy and joy is so pretty and ready to show in America,only thing we are waiting patiently is to have the THKC to correct her pedigree for her new owner , Akkarin Tonwong - a Thai .

I'm also so happy that Akkarin and her husband who are new comers in show dog world are fully understand how important and how Joy deserves to reach one more champion title besides Thai championship that she got it in only two shows.
