Saiyai's Happy Birthday

5th of April is Saiyai's birthday. She went out with her friends to have a birthday dinner.

First person, Skyler is our family's nice American friend. He worked for the UN in Thailand and has been a close friend since then. Skyler and his family are dog lovers. He's the one who wen to pick up Masa and Patty from Misty Meadow, Italy. He also helps Saiyai with many things. It seems like he's ready to be "there" whenever Saiyai needs him. That includes taking a bus from DC to have a dinner with Saiyai on her birthday.

Ken, a nice American Chinese, is a friend Saiyai met at Tsinghua University, China when they both went there to study Chinese 2 years ago. Ken and Saiyai are good friends since then. He works at Standard and Poor in New York. He also helps out Saiyai with many things. Whenever a friend needs a friend, Saiyai has Ken.

Shelena is Saiyai's best girl friend in New York. She goes to NYU, the same program with Saiyai. Shelena is from California. Now she lives very close to Saiyai's apartment so they hangout together all the time. Shelena is a friend that makes Saiyai study in NYC without feeling too lonely.

Than-Ong, Saiya's super best friend, is always there for Saiyai no matter what the situation is. Ong waits for her to get home and is happy to be with Saiyai, wherever she is - Thailand or America. Too bad though that today Ong didn't get to join her for dinner because the place didn't have outdoor seats so he couldn't go.

My family and I want to thank all Saiyai's friends, who make her 25th birthday a happy one even when she lives so far away from her family in a large city like NYC.
