Nayla on vacation!:-))

This is little "Nayla" . She is on vacation on the mountain somewhere in Europe with her family, Hossli family.

Nayla is enjoying her vacation. Every morning she comes to breakfast with her family and enjoys eating a scrambled egg. It is her favourite! In the picture she is enjoying the soft bed. She says Hi! across the sky to us! :0) She also sends kisses to her daddy and mommy ( Baron & Tana). Roxana says Nayla is very exited that her brother , Ch.Roger Federer will come to live with her in Swtzerland very soon.

Carla & Erika's great work on Malee , Tommie ,Roger on the snow blizzard day!!!

You can probably remember the day Virginia was hit by a snow blizzard. It was the worst blizzard in 60 years, and it shut down Virginia and near by states. At the time, there was a dog show. Erika Lanasa, brought our dogs there to show. She made an appointment with Carla Viggiano, to take photos of Roger Federer, Tommie, and Malee. On that day, Roger finished his American Championship as well.

After the first day of show was over, Erika and Carla came out to find a good location for the photoshoot. In their hearts, they were worried about the snow blizzard, but they kept on working...until they produced over a hundred beautiful pictures of these three. I can't post them all here.

I would like to pay my courtesy to Erika and Carla that even when the weather didn't go their way, they still produced such great work, before they both went home with their dogs and camera even before the show ended!!!.

And of course, the three beautiful chihuahaus, Roger, Tommie, and Malee, they seemed to have thrown themselves into posting for this photoshoot. :0)))

Bouquet and Joy at the show past Sunday

There was a dog show in Thailand ,past Sunday.

Little Bouquet : Saiyai & Brislin 's Dancin Bouquet won 1 Best Puppy of Breed, 4 times of 1st place , 1 CC and 1 RCC.

And our sweet Joy : Saiyai's Jumping for Joy, won 1st place 4 times.

Activities on my 55th birthday

I turn 55 years old today.

Yesterday, which was my birthday eve, I went to work as usual. My staff held a small, but warm party for me, and my photographer kindly came up to take photos for me.

As an editor, I should have laptops, but in the picture, I had Eve on the desk instead. Eve went to office with me. She wore a purple shirt, for me I think.

My Birthday eve, so simple, but I was happy.

Last night at 54 years old

My husband and my two sons took me out for dinner at a very fancy hotel. It's an activity we do occasionally, but we enjoyed it particularly much, this time, especially Sa who ate a lot of salmon. He ate what you would expect 5 people to eat!

We made it even more special by taking a photo in front of the restaurant.

It was my last night at 54 years old, a happy birthday eve.

Birthday cards from a dear friend

I woke up and opened my email. The first thing I saw was three beautiful cards from my friend, Marina of Masway Chihuahua, Russia.

Marina said she began working on these cards since last month. I know that lately, Marina is slighly ill, yet she concentrated on working on my birthday cards. She said she made three cards and couldn't decide which one to send to me, so she asked me to pick one. Of course, I couldn't decide. They all include love from a loving friend. They all mean so much on my birthday.

Bouquet from my husband

This bouquet was for my 55th birthday, given to me by my husband. The two sons came to jam in. They said, "from us too!" LOL. Saiyai sent love from New York. Oh, my day, my special day.

Now, I am 55 years old. More wrinkles. More grey hair. More proud, more love, more happiness. I love my birthday.

Making merits

We went to two temples. It is something my family usually do anyway, but today was emotionally special, and we felt good indeed.

We offered clothings for the monks and other equipments

A piggy bank given to people on their birthday so they can save up the money for other occasions


We went to pray and pay homage to a very important and old Buddha figure.

A very holy Buddha figure, from which we prayed for victory.

That's all for my birthday activities. So simple, but so happy.

What I wrote about Malee & Erika ,to the AKC

Everybody knows that our dogs , Malee and Tommie , didn't win in the Wstminster show. But I am still happy because I know that Erika and Malee and Tommie fought on together despite the obstacles. I pay my respect down to them all.

Before the Westminster show , I recieved an email from AKC to write something interesting about Malee. I wrote it happily. It was difficult to write everything about Malee and Erika in a few lines, but I tried. In the end , it wasn't used , but I would still like to share what I wrote about Erika and Malee here.

I know Michelle wrote somthing nice and sweet for her Tommie as well.

Here it is:

When we sent Malee to Erika Lanasa , we only hoped that Malee would finish her American Championship , as a tributeto her super parents , Int.Am.Th. Ch.Fandango Wheel of Fortune and Th.Ch. Jimlim of Saiyai Doghome , both of whom have produced many excellent puppies for us.

It turned out that Malee showed with Erika Lanasa much better than we ever hoped. They get along and have a strong attachment. They produced show results which were beyond excellent. Erika made Malee into the first Thai -bred long coat chihuahua to become American champion.

Malee's show record in 2009 was:
15 Best of Breed
2 Group ones
3 Group twos
2 Group threes
5 Group fours

Please note that this was from limited showing between 26th July to 5th December 2009

Watching Malee and Erika showing together , it catches your eyes and captures your hearts like watching the world's most beautiful ballet.

Thank you all judges for kindly awarding Malee in 2009. Your talented eyes fill the hearts two Thai chihuahua breeders with happiness and the confidence to breed excelence chihuahuas to the world.

"Pudding" has become American Champion

And...in another part of the states - Hawaii , Stacia Ohira broght "Pudding" won the Best of Opposite sex! And "Pudding" has become American champion!!!! Saiyai Doghome 's latest American champion!!!!!

So now..."Pudding"'s full name with her title is:

But oh! how I am happy!! Why?? I know they worked their best!!! Erika Lanasa, the handler , devoted her heart and soul. That's great enogh for us.

Roger Federer finished Thai Championship when he was only 6 months old by my handler, Prayoon Wichakanawut ,before flying to be more trained and shown by Erika Lanasa in the states.

"Goldie" the "ex" ugly duckling

We call her "Goldie." Goldie lives with my brother, Tom. She was sired by Dk.Th.Ch. Alveena Misty Meadow's Masa FCI. The mother is our gorgeous "White Malila." When Goldie was very young, her nose was not all black as it should, instead having pink spots on it. Her four littermates were reserved and bought in very short amount of time. Only she was left. Being a female, she should have been sold quite easily but her nose prevented anyone from pursuing their interests in her. At the time, I was a little bit upset. I know that she is from a great bloodline, and I know that she will turn out alright. The pink spot only needed time, for when she's mature and has received enough sunlight, for it to be alright. But I didn't encourage anyone to buy her .

My brother was even happier to have her live with him. He loves Goldie very much.

Now Goldie is about two and a half months old. The pink spots on her nose have disappeared. Her structure is great, as per usual of the Misty Meadow's line. And her movement...ahhhhh.... it is one to die for. This blog post is just to share her, not to promote her. My brother will never let her go, LOL.
