"Cash" May Retire from Showing

Cash มาสู่บ้านสายใยเมื่อปลายปี 2549 และทำให้ชื่อเสียงของบ้านสายใยบรรเจิด...เป็นที่รู้จัก ได้เพียงชั่วข้ามคืน Cash เป็นแสงสว่างของวงการประกวดชิวาว่าเมืองไทยในฐานะอเมริกันแชมป์ตัวสวยตัวแรกในรอบหลายๆปี ที่สมบูรณ์ทั้งหน้าตา โครงสร้าง อารมณ์

Cash เดินประกวดสะสมคะแนน จนได้รับเลือกเป็นชิวาวาขนยาวอันดับหนึ่งของประเทศไทยประจำปี 2550

บ้านสายใย ตั้งใจจะ campaign Cash อีกสักปี ในปี 2551

Cash ยังทำได้ดีมากๆในช่วงครึ่งปีแรก

แต่แล้ว...Cash เริ่มมีอาการเบื่อหน่าย เหนื่อยล้า ไม่สนุกกับการเดินประกวด ในหลายๆครั้งที่ผ่านมาในช่วงเดือนที่ผ่านมา คนที่คอยเชียร์ Cash อย่างชื่นชมด้วยชื่นชอบในลีลาการโชว์ของ Cash เริ่มรู้สึกสงสาร..กับท่าทีที่เหมือนฝืนใจเหลือเกินสำหรับ Cash เมื่อลงสนาม ความรู้สึกสงสาร...อึดอัด...นั้น เกิดขึ้นในใจฉันด้วย

2-3 วันที่ผ่านมา ฉันจูง Cash ไปเดินเล่นรอบทะเลสาบข้างบ้าน Cash เดินไปกับฉัน...ในสายจูง...อย่างมีความสุข สวยงาม อย่างที่เคยเป็นก่อนหน้านี้ ฉันมองดู Cash แล้วสะท้อนใจว่า เมื่อเขามีความสุข Cash ก็ยังเดินได้สวยงาม นั่นน่าจะแสดงว่า Cash ไม่มีความสุขแล้วในสนามประกวด...จริงๆ

ฉันนั่งลงคุยกับ Cash ที่ข้างทะเลสาบ ระหว่างพักจากการเดินเล่น ฉันโอบกอดเขาไว แล้วถามว่า "Cash เป็นอะไรลูก หนูไม่อยากประกวดแล้วหรือ?" Cash เลียหน้าฉัน และมองฉันด้วยแววตารักใคร่...เกรงใจ เหมือนจะบอกว่า "แม่ครับ ผมได้ทำหน้าที่ของผมแล้ว แม่ได่้เป็นเจ้าของชิวาวาอันดับ 1 ไปแล้ว และผมก็ให้ลูกสวยๆกับแม่ไว้หลายตัว และจะยังให้ต่อไป เพียงแต่ผมเหนื่อย..เบื่อ ผมไม่อยากไปเดินประกวด ผมอยากอยู่บ้าน นอนหนุนตักแม่ ให้แม่กอด และวิ่งเล่นกับเพื่อนๆท่ามกลางสายลมแสงแดด อย่างหมาธรรมดๆ ที่เป็นที่รักและมีความสุข ไม่ใช่ว่าในขณะที่เพื่อนๆกำลังวิ่งเล่น และจีบสาว ผมกลับถูกแพ็คลงกล่องเพื่อไปสนามประกวดที่เสียงดัง และไม่สนุกเลย"

ฉันเศร้าอยู่หลายวัน กับอาการที่เหมือน"anty"ของ Cash จนกระทั่ง Myra เพื่อนสนิทของฉันบอกว่า "Cash is already a famous big champion and will sire many good puppies for you.Just let him stop,if he wants to.

เพื่อนๆจึงอาจจะไม่เจอ Cash ในสานมประกวดอีกแล้วนะคะ แต่ Cash จะยังรอให้คุณเยี่ยมเยียนได้ที่บ้านสายใย..ตลอดไปค่ะ


Cash arrived to Saiyai Kennel in late 2006, with the glorious name of "Am.Ch. Fandango Wheel of Fortune" and have made Saiyai Kennel famous overnight. He really was the wheel of fortune. Cash, as an American Champion, was the spotlight in Thailand chihuahua showing industry. He was perfect in appearance, structure, and temperament.

Cash collected enough points to earn the title of Thailand's no.1 chihuahua in 2007.

Saiyai Kennel planned to campaign Cash for another year in 2008.

Cash did very well in the first half of the year.

But then.... Cash started to show signs of boredom, fatigue, and lack of enthusiasm. In the past many shows in the last month, Cash's fans started to feel sorry for him, with his unwilling gestures in the shows. I too, felt this.

The last few days, I've taken Cash for a walk around the neighborhood. Cash walked with me, happily and gracefully, as he once was. I reflected that when Cash is happy, he can still walk very well. This must mean that Cash must not be very happy to show.

I talked to him while taking a rest near the lake. I held him and asked, "What's wrong son? Don't you want to show anymore?" He licked my face and looked at me lovingly, as if to say, "I've done my job. You've got yourself a no.1 chihuahua. I've given you many beautiful puppies, and will continue to do so. But I'm bored and tired. I don't want to show. I want to stay home. Rest on you lap and hugged by you. Play with my friends under the sun, like all the other dogs. I don't want that while my friends are playing and flirting, I have to go to a loud and un-enjoyable show."

I was sad for a few days with Cash's "anti-" attitude. Until a close friend of mine, Myra, told me that, "Cash is already a big and famous champion. He will sire many good puppies. Just let him stop if he wants to."

So friends, you may never see Cash at any shows anymore, but he'll always be here ready to welcome you to Saiyai Kennel.
