First baby panda of the year in the world was born in Thailand

At the moment the Thai people are excited about the new panda baby. A talk of the town.

Lin-Hua and Xuang-Xuang, are the female and male pandas, respectively, that travelled from China to Thailand as gifts from the Chinese governments, 4 years ago. The two pandas live in habitat the Chiang mai zoo especially made for them.

The staf, vets, and specialists, who were trained by the Chinese government were trying to have the two "marry" one another because they wanted to see a baby panda. It'll be a masterpiece because pandas are known to have reproduction difficulties. They tried to do everything, including creating a suitable atmosphere, or putting the two together while Lin-Hua was on season. They even tried showing panda porn! It still didn't work. Lin-Hua and Xuang-Xuang were still interested only in eating bamboos and playing like children.

It only worked out by using artificial reproduction. Even while Lin-Hua was pregnant, nobody knew anything about it. They were only aware after the baby was delivered 10 days ago. It is the first baby panda of this year in the world. The baby, when born, was 200 grams. Unbelievable that when fully grown it'll be as big as a giant. Chinese specialists flew in to help look after the baby and identify the gender of the baby. The specialist reported that the baby is a female.

At the moment, Thai people are excitededly talking about the panda baby and competing to name the panda baby, as the government has invited. Thai-Thai seems to be the most popular.

Lin-Hua is a very good mother. She's very fond of her baby. She has only let her baby crawl just two days ago. She has only just started eating the bamboos by herself because earlier she would only concentrate on the baby, so the staff had to feed her bamboo. It's such an adorable sight that we can't contemplate that two years from now, the baby panda has to go back to China, according to the contract between the two governments.

Lin-Hua and Xuang-Xuang, the pictures were taken by us during our past New Year vacation to Chiang Mai

Saiyai and Kawee took a picture, using Lin-Hua as the background

Cute

Mama Lin-Hua caring the baby, which you can hardly see because it's the size of her thumb

I think that thai-thai is an excellent for the new panda.... Especially if it has to go to China when it is two. It will remind everyone of the success of the thai people.

Yeh! It's cute! It was hilasrious that they tried to show the panda porn to Lin -Hui & Chuang-Chuang but it did not work. It happened because of the atificial breeding! And look at the panda baby!!! It is a miracle!!!

I agree with Elissa that Thai-Thai is exelence name for the cute baby. Make the Thai footprint.

I read this when I was in elevator and I burst to laugh when it came to the porn movie… Ha ha ha… perhaps the pandas just didn’t like the acts… so they was not inspired at all!! He he he… you really cheered up my morning with this post, thank you...

And I think Thai-Thai sounds excellence. The pronunciation (I think) may also means “lady” in Chinese.

Hehehe I didn't know they have panda's porn movie. Anyway,it didn't work, at least for this case.

The panda baby is soooo cute. Her mama seems love her child so much. I read in the internet that Lin Hua is taking very good care of her baby. It's touching.

Thank Joom for sharing this nice story.
