What I want to say to you before 2008 past away

As I've said many times before, I have lived for more than half my life. I have found that the best parts of my life have been since I started breeding dogs. Dogs have brought many good friends into my life. When I began to write my "diary" onto this blog, I was further amazed that I couldn't think of any other periods in my life, which have been better.

I started my blog in June. Today, my diary is only 167 posts long. Everyday, my blog has brought good things beyond explanation into my life. It's amazing that the word "hi" or a comment of few words from friends from all over the world, speaking in different languages, are what makes me open up my blog every morning. You are all so influential to my life.

Of course, this year that is about to past, I've met many upsets, which is a norm in life. I've experience betrayal from someone not so far away. Some people who I've helped and hoped for a life-long friendship. Of course, life isn't always as hoped. I may not deserve only the good things. So "betrayal" "insults" "accusations" entered my life, in this year of 2008.

But all of these upsets hardly matter when compared to other period of this year when I've faced great obstacles, which has created much misery for my family and I (for example when a breeder stole the picture of my Baron) some of my friends, whom I've never met in person, never knew much of their background, except through friendly email communication, devoted themselves in helping to solve these problems. Some of them tried to get involved in legal terms to try to help me through the crisis. Some send me messages, which are like a big napkin for me to wipe my tears and pull my chin up. Even my daughter, who studies in New York, when she faced obstacles, some of my friends would try to help as if she's one of their own. These friendships tell me that they are valuable, more worthy of remembering than all the bad things I faced.

Unbelievable that these friendships, and any other, which I have not been able to mention, were all possible because of dogs!!!

All my friends, whom I may not all name, but I know you know I'm referring to you, please know that if there's any words more powerful than thank you and appreciation, please know that I offer them to you countless times.

The things I want to wish for you all are:

May your troubles be less

your blessings be more

and nothing but happiness

come through your door

in the year 2009

But at the same time, we all know that 2009 will be a year of challenge. Probably more so than any other year in our lifetime. I would like to say to you all, my derest friends, and to myself:

We must live with what we have

Not what we dream

And make the best of that we have
