Look Mee, sad girl

One day 5 years ago, I walked pass a pet shop. Normally, I look down and try to stride it as fast as possible but on that day, there was some kind of power attract me to look inside. I only wanted to "glance" but my eyes met with a Boston Terrier dog, who pathetically sat in a small cage and sadly looked through a mirror. I forgot where I wanted to go but quickly marched into that pet shop. I asked for name and price, which was very high then took "Look Mee" out. Look Mee, is a Boston Terrier girl with a sweet face and a very tiny body. At that time, she was 2 years old. I took her to one of my cousins' house to observe if she had any contagious deceases since she looked weak. As I thought, she had a serious infected decease. It took her a whiled to be cured and of course, I spent so much to heal her. Once she recovered I took her home.

Look Mee was a sad quiet dog. If she saw anyone, she would try to hind as conceal as she can. But if she didn't see any human, she would lively run with puppies. Her behavior was similar to a horse chasing after puppies in circle. It was a beautiful picture, which I had to hind myself and looked from the window in the house.

Time passed, I felt that my house was getting too crowded so I was thinking about looking for a new house for Look Mee. Fortunately, a friend of mine liked Look Mee so much and he has only 2 Malteses with him. We agreed he would adopted Look Mee. Today... is the day my friend was supposed to come pick her up.

In the early morning, a maid went to wake Look Mee up to exercise and "party" as usual but found out she was sleeping breathlessly in her place. There was no reason and no sign telling us before.

Today, there were so many things upset me but, loosing almost all money, tear and hope, nothing brought sadness and depression to me, my family and my maids as much as the lost of Look Mee.

So sorry to hear that my friend.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

Oh Joom, I am so sorry about Look Mee. But please listen to what I must tell you:

I firmly believe that animals have another sense, the sixth sense, which is developed in them to a lesser or greater degree. I have told you about one of my Chihuahuas that, when I am sad, can sense sadness in me although I have not given him any outward signal of it. He can sense other feelings and moods.

Most other dogs can sense when I am thinking about giving a bath, and they all disappear under the beds, although I have made no move from my chair or changed my facial expression.

My understanding is that human beings (and animals too) emit a halo-like effect that comes off our bodies. This has been consistently photographed by scientists in experiments; this is about science, not crazy-person eccentricities.

It is believed that some of the energy we consume radiates off our bodies through our lifetimes as part of the numerous chemical exchanges that keeps us alive.

It has been noted that in the past, artists who are by nature careful observers, through their visual skills have been able to detect and draw these "halos" seen on the heads and often surrounding the bodies of saints, holy people, kings and the powerful on well-known paintings, etchings and drawings from countries all over the world...and in all religions.

I believe that Look Mee identified you as a protector, right from the start and focused all her energy field on connecting with yours. Look Mee knew she was sick. Under your wing, she thought, would be a great place to live; but also, a good place to die.

So without a single word, Look Mee was able to leave the pet shop with you and forever leave the misery of living in that small cage, as well as the earlier abuse that manifested itself later on through her fear of people.

So Joom, Look Mee has died in safety, which was so important to her.

Words will not comfort you right now. And words could not reach Look Mee then, or now. But both of you didn't need words to communicate with each other. Then, or now.

I have no doubt you will see Look Mee again, although you will feel her gratitude as soon as you heal.

Hugs,
Diana
